I have found that the teachers who sit behind the desk stupe you till no end are not as effective as those teachers who have a turn over on, enthusiastic learning environment. In consumerism, this essay will analyze the various theories on consumerism and weight up their pros and cons for offering logical conclusion. The consumer products, commodities, enable people to carry on a sense of pleasure, feeling, taste, feel, and excitement creating the personal expression and satisfaction. This is based on set of beliefs, the first being the idea that consuming goods is natural, and bnfcl for ndvduls and societies, the second being the idea that everything can be sold or bought for monetary value. These two attitudes were historically overbold and began around the 1750s in the most economically advanced countri es such as Holland and Brtn. (Alan J. Kidd and David Nicholls, 1999)Taking it for granted, what would be consumption then? Firstly, consumption was non new. It began with the lsur classes. They were aristocracies, who had monopoly on wealthy and whose main way of life was one of continual consumption. These leisure classes displayed what is known as conspicuous consumption. In former(a) words, they displayed thr consumption tests and values to others. This leaves people with the final question. Does consumerism affect every aspect of everyday lives? Consequently, people are apparently living in society, which function through efficiency, predictability, calculation, and control. It seems every aspect of peoples lives from watching television, to driving or catching the taxi into work is now standardized. some(prenominal) goods w now buy has already been processed. In a broad sense, it is obvious that progress of reverse flow, hybridization, and fragmentation is quite as strong as the push towards mass homogenization in globalized consumer societies. This begs the last questions, will there ever be limit to consumerism? Will there ever come speckle where it is too much?

Essay on Appearance vs Reality in Othello and Twelfth Night

Appearance versus Reality in Othello and Twelfth Night Shakespeare cleverly uses the art of screen, in both his tragedies and his comedies, in align to employ a literary device known as dramatic mockery, where the audience members are aware of something (in this case the true identity of characters) that characters in the chat up are not. This, of course, creates tension in a play and excites the audience actions take place on the stage, of which the audience knows the import, but characters on the stage do not. It also creates a setting for a great deal of irony where characters make comments that take on a double meaning. Two examples of characters who utilize such disguise are Iago, from Othello, and Viola, from Twelfth Night. The purposes for which Iago chooses to disguise his motives are to gain an office which he feels he deserves and to get revenge on Othello for allegedly committing adultery with his wife. Most of the irony in Othello stems not from what Iago says, but rather from what the other characters say about him, such as the references to him as honest Iago, the bold Iago, and a very daring fellow. Iagos disguise makes the audience fearful for the other characters, and causes them to pity those who suffer... ... self-serving officer are both lessons in trust. In Twelfth Night, Olivias readiness to fall in love with appearances is a lesson about love. Sometimes it seems disguise tells more than candor. Works Cited and Consulted Jorgensen, Paul A. Cry The Beloved Country :: Cry the Beloved Country Essays

Cry The Beloved Country Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of it all. Let him not love the earth to deeply. Let him not be too moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give to such(prenominal) of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he lives too much. Yes cry, cry, the beloved country Cry The Beloved Country by Alan Paton was a magnificent work of art and my words alone would do it an injustice. Its pages echo with the dirge of a battered country that has suffered far too much for far to long. The book takes you to South Africa, where the land itself is the essence of a man. It as if the mountains, soaring high above the clouds, are the high moments in career, and the valleys are those humiliated and suffering quantifys. Next, you will take a journey to a place called Johannesburg. While reading the pages, begin to envision Johannesburg being a polluted, very unkind, and step on it city. The s etting is more of a emotional setting than a physical setting. As I stated it takes place in South Africa, 1946. This is a time where racial discrimination is at an all time high. The black community of this land is trying to break free from the white people, but having little success. It is this so called racism that is essential to the setting of the story. Without it, the book would not conduct as much of an impact as it does. The story begins, as many great stories have begun, with a solitary man taking a long and dangerous journey to a distant land. The man is an Anglican Zulu priest, Rev. Stephen Kumalo, and the journey is to the white-ran Johannesburg in 1946. the likes of a weary prophet taking a biblical sojourn to Sodom, Kumalo is seeking out lost members of his family who have left the townships for the lights of the big city. He is feeling for his sister Gertrude, who has become a prostitute and mostly, his son Absalom, who has disappeared into the darkness as surely a s the original Absalom of the Old Testament was lost to King David. at a time he arrives, the nave Kumalo is immediately robbed, and it isnt until he finds the enigmatic but helpful Father Msimangu that he is able to begin his search, a search that will change his life forever.

Patterns for College Writing Essay

I spent the night before contemplating how I was going away to get out of school on Thurs twenty-four hours. There was a social studies test I didnt study for and I only could not beam another day of dodge ball. On the morning of September 11, 2001 I woke up sick. I pleaded with my get down, and took a fake trip to the bathroom because I was going to vomit. Finally, I was allowed to stay home. At 600 am, I was ordered to go back to sleep and I did. I looked forward to my day alone as I lingered between sleeping and waking pondering how I was going to fill my day with snacks, computer games, and loud music. September 11, 2001 began as a childhood scheme and it ended with me growing up. I dozed much of the morning and awoke to the sound of my brothers radio alarm going off. It was thorium and he shouldnt be home. I pouted as I slowly got out of bed to see if I was truly alone. I walked down the mansion house and stopped briefly at the bathroom and then into my brothers room. He w as gone, and the alarm had been set wrong. The people on the radio droned on and on. I wandered some the room hoping to find a magazine that I let brat borrow weeks ago.As I was on my knees peaking under the bed the wrangle on the radio became clear. I heard the word terrorists and the fragments of statements like hundreds died this morning when. Then, I could only hear my heart beat in my ears. I got to my feet and for the setoff time since being a child, I felt real panic. The sort of panic you feel when you are four and you have wandered away from your parents. Once I caught my breath I do my way to the family room, frantically searching for the remote. I turned on the television to MSNBC and the first image I saw was a man jumping from a broken window of one of the twin towers. I was baffled and this would be the image that would haunt my dreams, my waking memories, and what it meant to be an the Statesn. I heard the details over and over again. The errorists had hijacked thr ee planes and deliberately crashed them into the Pentagon and the Twin Towers. The video clips played again and again on the news. The smoke filled horizons around the crumbling buildings. Paper was flying everywhere and the sound of heart broken people wailing in the background filled the screen. I stared and there were moments where I theme it might be a movie and all I had to do was change the channel. The phone must of rang a dozen times before I answered it It was my mother on the other end, asking me again and again if I was ok. She told me she would be home soon. I waited, though I did not k straight for what, and watched. The Towers were now in flames as the reporters spoke in what seem like whispers. Their words almost silenced but the sound of a city slowly dying. I remember hearing the back door open and close, and my mother sitting down next to me. It was the first time since I was a child that she held my mass and I let her. Stunned, we sat together as the news report ed that at 840 am the terrorists crashed planes into the World Trade Center. It was hard to comprehend. My mother cried and I cried too except on the inside. I watched her body shake as she twisted her ring around and around her finger. My mother, who could out talk just slightly everyone we knew, was speechless. It was then that I understood she was scared too. I hugged my mother and told her everything would be all right. I told her we would be safe and that we had each other. I made us coffee and we spent much of the afternoon talking about what happened, what could happen, and what we would do. What we spoke about most was why. why did the terrorists hate America? Why did people kill other people for no apparent reason? Comforting my mother in the ways she had comforted me for so many years, came by luck to me. Over the next few months we followed the story as did the world. I can remember President Bush attempting to comfort the united States and telling us America would be going to war for reasons that werent clear to me then and certainly arent clear to me now. Suddenly video games and staying home from school just werent important anymore. Dodge ball did not seem so bad. Instead of hiding from my parents I sought them out, wanting to discuss my day and theirs together. I do not believe what does not kill us makes us stronger. However, I think that what does not kill us makes truly value what we have in life and to realize how much our family and friends mean to us. My family and I became very active in volunteer activities especially with the Red Cross. We donated bottled water, clothing, blankets, and food. Our community held local charity events to remonstrate money for the victims of September 11 including those firemen and police officers who gave their lives in the fires of 9/11. It was the first time I or my family had ever become involved in activities that did not directly benefits ourselves. The sense of community and patriotism that was built in the months following the terrorists attacks still exists with me today. We now volunteer regularly as a family for a deed of charities. Through the destruction of the Twin Towers, I finally understood my place and role in society. Not as a bystander but an active and unstrained participant. On September 11, 2001 many people lost their lives and I gained my independence from childhood fantasies. Before that Thursday in September, I never thought about life and death. I never considered the consequences of war and the denial of freedoms. Now that I am older, I realize that September 11, 2001 was not just pivotal focalize for me but America itself. Not since Pearl Harbor had the United States been unexpectedly attacked on its own land. Just as families pulled together so did the United States as a whole. We cried together and we healed together. To actually witness the attacks was life changing but to be part of the healing process was life affirming.BibliograhyBerne, S. (2 004). grime Zero. In S. Beside, there must be a jurisprudence that punishes the people who sell coffin nails to imma ture people and teens. For thy interest, baccy, I would make anything but dice. Charles Lamb,This sentence is the ground for halting smoke. Smoking leads to decease and this is the chief ground. Teenss must hold an internal ability to halt quit smoke. The best manner to halt smoke is to transport wet lucifers. AnonymousIf one has sincerely wants to discontinue smoke, he will make anything to discontinue. There are many people who tell themselves that if they want to discontinue smoke, they can. But, in fact, they are non honorable with themselves. They are fallacious to themselves as they do nil to discontinue.Actually, this societal issue had truly affected me in a positive manner. When I thought in my male parent s narrative, I found that if I smoke I will destruct my wellness with my ain custodies. As a consequence, I will destruct my organic structure which God had given me to salvage. In the beginning, when I was immature, my male parent told me his experiment with smoking many times but, I did nt have it away the underlying significance of this narrative until I grown up. Analysis and Interpertation of “Stolpestad”

Stolpestad by William Lychack I believe that we often consider the fact that we dont get plenteous pop of our lives. We think a lot about whether we live our lives to the full. Maybe roughlyone chooses not to live an exciting life where every solar solar daylight, is a newly day and a new opportunity. Whether we live a boring life sometimes alone, sometimes with a family we still wonder if we get enough out of our every day and avoid living a stagnant life. But is that until now possible? Or does some righteous choose to live a predetermined life which might make them feel secure because its something familiar withal though they might find it boring? But peradventure its not possible to live a secure life with a family and a good job without getting tired of it? Maybe some people are just stuck in a boring life, without doing something to change it. I believe that is what we see in this short story by William Lychack, where we determine about police officer Stolpestad and his stagnant life. Stolpestad certainly seems to be stuck in a routine a boring life, where every day is the same. Day in and day out. As mentioned above we expose about the master(prenominal) character Stolpestad. Hes a police officer who doesnt seem to be pleased about how his life turned out to be.He doesnt seem happy about his job and it just seems like his life is at a standstill Was toward the contain of your shift, a Saturday, another one of those long slack up lazy afternoons of summer sun never burning through the clouds, clouds never gaolbreak into rainfall The day is described in a bit negative way because of the choice of words such as long lazy and slow. But it also seems like both these word and the weather description are a symbolisation of Stolpestads life. Everything seems a kind of inadequate just like the weather. The sun is never really shining so much that its sunny, but at the same time, its not really rain either. The weather seems a kind of st agnant just as Stolpestads life. A characteristic feature of this short story is the narrator view. The story is told in 2. someone but at the same time the schoolbook refers to Stolpestad as a you which means that it seems like its actually Stolpestad whos telling the story. Maybe even telling the story to himself. The way this short story is pen is a kind of what you would find in self-help books and not in the ordinary short stories.Besides that its not quite clear when the persons in the story are actually speaking and when its just actions and Stolpestads thoughts Maybe youll take that glass if water system after all, you say the boy sent into the house the woman asking if you wont just help them. Doesnt she want to call a vet? No, she tells you the boy pushing out of the house with a glass of water for you you thanking him and taking a good long drink, This quote also shows that the text is a bit difficult to read because its hard to figure out whether people is actu ally speaking or if the text is just written in a spoken language.Therere lot of things which symbolize Stolpestads life. For instance theres the weather, but also the setting is a symbol of his boring life. Everything is described in a negative way the odometer like a clock ticking all these bored little pen up streets and mills and tenements away. The coffee shop, the liquor stores, Laundromats, police, fire, gas stations to pass The shops Stolpestad passes are plain and a kind of colorless, and its something he sees every day. We also hear that he passes his old childhood which means that he actually never really moved away.He just stayed in the same old town where he was born. Maybe therefore you could say that he never really got any further in his life. He just stayed along the same sad streets. The main theme in this short story is clear all the way through the text, and therere a lot of symbols of Stolpestad and his life. A couple of them is cause mentioned, but also the dog, which he is supposed to shoot, is a symbol of Stolpestad. The dog is injured and about to die, but still its a live even though its condition might seem critical. You could say the same about Stolpestad. He is a kind of a living dead person, because it seems like his day is done in zombie-mode. He doesnt get very much out of his life, hes just trying to survive another day at the office, with the wife, the children and the sad streets. So the main theme and also the conclusion is that stagnation isnt something good. Become Legendary Essay

The Kobe and Lebron comparison is now probably the biggest and most controversial talk in todays sports news. Lebron can go to the hoop with authority, while Kobe is a sleek and flashy all a round out shooter. Although being 2 of the surmount role players in the world they ar very different in the ways they play the game of basketball. Though both Kobe and Lebron went to the NBA straight out of high school, and being two of the confederacys best all around players who are lethal threats which must take an extraordinary game plan to defend. With the association and contrast of the two legends, whether it is by trophies or championship titles, or all around stat freaks, these will be main contributing factors in crowning the best.Kobe Bryant is arguably one of the group discussions best all around players of all time. He can drive, shoot, and his finish is one of a kind. His defense is shut down and plays with fouls as a defensive mechanism. not only is he top class on the floor, but on the free throw line as well. Also being one of the leagues most consistent free throw shooters since entering the NBA. Kobe plays the game as if he invented it he is one of the worlds most prise and popular players. Kobe has five NBA championships and is a twelve time NBA all star. Kobe Bryant age thirty-two is one of the most decorated players in the history of the NBA, and is a proximo hall -of -famer. Kobe also has had an unheard of eighty-one points in a single game. Kobes down side is that he is not consistently aggressive or hard going to the boards (getting rebounds or dunking). With all that said I feel like Kobe Bryant will eer be remembered as one of the elite players to ever play in the NBA.Lebron James aka King James is a one of a kind, straight out of high school player who took on the league with a head full of steam. One of the most athletic and young freaks the NBA has probably ever seen. He has matured from a young kid to a man in a matter of seasons, whi le adding a different edge to his game both year. Lebron who is septenary years younger than Kobe is a seven time NBA all star, but has yet to win a single NBA championship. Coming out of high school Lebron was the initial pick out of the first roundout of the NBA draft. Though Lebron the young hot shot he is seems to receive a lot of criticism because of the recent change in location to south beach.Even though Lebron is such an amazing player, the thing that hurts him the most is his shooting at times. Lebron isnt save a basketball player hes a business man as well with endorsements from companies such as Nike and Sprite. Forbes magazine ranked James as the second most powerful athletes in the past decade. This new kid on the block has produced points and shows what he can do every night he puts points on the board and fans in the stands. Both of these iconic athletes are incredibly amazing in all their unique ways, whether on or off the court. Together they have won two gold m edals in the Olympics for the United States. They are both the leagues present day top players who decided that college wasnt for them. Lebron and Kobe were both first round picks in the NBA draft and the number one ranked player coming out of high school. They both are astonishingly efficient in every aspect of the offensive or defensive side of the ball. Blocking shots and playing hard noised defense is what they do best. With a shot and release like no other they are quick scorers and know how to score from anywhere and in any situation on the floor. They both bring more to the game than just skill but as leaders vocally and emotionally on their teams. Not only are they the leaders on their teams, but are the faces for basketball and the NBA everywhere in the world. In my opinion this is not even that close. James has better numbers across almost every statistical category. In peck situations such as fourth quarter or overtime, less than five minutes left, neither team ahead by m ore than five points. Bryant genuinely has a higher field goal percentage and three-point percentage as well as more rebounds and assists per 48 minutes. James is a superior slasher, finisher, and protector as well as being stronger and more athletic. Bryant may have a killer instinct, but James has a mean streak of his own. With his undreamed of three point plays and up tempo offense. When all is said and done, Lebron James may go down as a better NBA basketball player than Kobe Bryant, but who knows, these guys are neck and neck.

Paul of Tarsus

Paul of Tarsus or Saint Paul is considered by many a nonher(prenominal) Christians today to be the or so important disciple of deliverer, and beside this the gage important found in the development of Christianity. Saint Paul had a major impact on the spread of Christianity, contributing to the underlying unity of the ghostly tradition by helping expand Jesus original teachings into a developed integrated belief system. The reason why Paul of Tarsus was one of the most significant persons in Christianity is because of his contributions of the development of Christianity, establishing it as a destructive and flourishing tradition. Some of Pauls contributions were his billingary journeys. Pauls mission journeys are best understood as systematic plan to take Christianity to Gentiles. His roman type citizenship helped him in considering how widespread Christianity could be. The Christian missions as the disciples understood it was a Jewish mission the preparations for the end of tim e involved just the chosen people. Pauls great innovation was the successful expansion of the Christian mission to include Gentiles in the end, this was why Christianity survived as a religion. Pauls Missionary Journeys worksheet). Although many of Pauls teachings build been contributed in the formation of Christianity, his teachings have also caused many controversies for the faith. This started with his controversial championing of the Gentiles but also caused other strong divisions in early Christianity. Other elements of Pauls teachings eventu solelyy stimulated the Reformation- the pre-eminent schism in the business relationship of Christianity. In addition, still others of Pauls words cause controversy for the modern Christian Church in his insistence on a subservient role for women and his condemnation of homosexuality. As a member of the Hellenic world, Paul recognised the relevance of the message of Christianity beyond the Jewish faith. He became an advocate for the cell ular inclusion of the Gentiles among the true followers of Christianity. Until Pauls challenge, Jewish Christians believed that non-Jews had to convert to Judaism and follow the law, which included restrictions and circumcision.Gentiles who worship in the synagogue but did not become proselytes were called god-fearers and were only second-class citizens in the synagogue. As the Gentiles did not follow kashruth, many Christian Jews refused to eat with Christian Gentiles, believing them to be unclean and not acceptable. This had implications for church home and for the ritual celebration of the Lords Supper. Paul challenged this belief, (Galatians 2 11-14) most strongly at the Council of Jerusalem in 50 CE.This lead to the decision by the early Christian leaders to enable Gentiles as well as Jews to be followers of Jesus of Nazareth and to call themselves Christians. Permitting freedom from the laws of kashruth and circumcision allowed Christianity to spread more freely amongst the G entiles and is why Paul is so significant today. (Christianity vs. Judaism worksheet). Pauls writings on social issues were just as influential on the life and beliefs of the Christian shade, and are still considered part and parcel of the broader Christian doctrine by the more conservative Christians.Paul condemned sexual immorality homosexuality in particular, apparently based on the strict moral laws of the Old Testament, as well as presumably his own private revelation form the Holy bosom (1 Cor. 69f Eph, 521-33). Some of his other dictums included device to his contemporaries not to marry in the expectation of the near return of Jesus and the divine revelation and the command to young men who have trespassed by sleeping with a woman to marry her, a notion that remained prominent in the European culture and the English Common Law until relatively recently. His statements are also apparently critical of women holding visible roles in church leadership. Paul whitethorn have been ambivalent towards slavery, saying that pending the near return of Jesus, people should focus on their faith and not on their social status (1 Cor. 721f). cod to his authority, these views have had an influence in Western society into modern times Pauls failure to explicitly condemn slavery in his Epistle to Philemon may have been sometimes interpreted as justifying the ownership of human beings.Paul of Tarsus helped extend Christianity and had a greater impact on the early religion than anyone else. His connections and Roman citizenship allowed him to spread the Gospel more easily. His wealth helped the poor, which provided good public relations. Pauls rejection of circumcision and founding of the Roman church allowed the religion to thrive and survive the Jewish Revolt. This significance make Christianity become a separate faith shaped by Pauls vision of salvation through the Risen Savior, which helped with the expression and development of Christianity today.Although not of all Pauls letter are established as being from the hand of Paul, all of them show the dominance of his theory. Each of Pauls letters shared a common purpose- uniting the new believers behind a common theology. Paul was excited about being able to attend at last in this church, and everyone was well aware of that fact (Romans 18-15). The letter to the Romans was written from Corinth however, the significance of Romans if far greater than its relevance just to that city. The keep back of Romans is primarily a work of doctrine and can be divided into four sections righteousness needed, 118320 righteousness provided, 321839 righteousness vindicated, 911136 righteousness practiced, 1211513. Paul first condemns all men of their sinfulness. He expresses his desire to preach the truth of Gods Word to those in Rome. It was his hope to have assurance they were staying on the right path. He strongly points out that the gospel (Romans 116) is the power by which everyone is saved outlining his bel ief in the risen Christ. The Book of Romans speaks about God, who He is, and what He has done, of Jesus Christ, and what His death accomplished. Paul points out that God did not demand men have their lives straightened out before coming to Christ. From this letter Paul purpose in writing was to proclaim the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching doctrine and edifying and encourage the believers who would receive his letter. These principles remain at the eye of Christian teaching today, partly due to the forces into which Paul presented them.

However, it is important to see how the company is managing to keep peace with this fast developing of technology and able to beat its competitors. To analyse this, the researcher will use a SWOT analysis as a tool to evaluate the overall companys strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. It involves monitoring the external and internal marketing environment. (Accenture, 2010) 4. 1. 5 Future differentiation Hp is planning to come up with a massive Touchpad which according their European chief it will fit better than Apple product, iPad. In his statement reported by Reisinger (2011) he said In the tablet world, we are going to become better than yield one.We call it number one plus HP indicated its intentions for the tablet market in February when they make public of their touchpad. The device runs the companys WebOS operating ashes and comes with a 9. 7-inch display. (Reisinger, 2011) The device also supports a new HP Touchstone Touch-to-Share proximity-based sharing feature , which allows harmonious devices to instantly exchange data, media, and information. 5. 0 Objectives and E-marketing Strategies . 1 Corporate objectives Source (HP, 2011) 5. 2 E-CRM recommendations Hp as a click and mortar company which has position its self as the best in the industry and aiming to gain its customers loyalty, needs to provide the best services to continue with their good relation with its customers. One of the improvements that need to be taken into account is the find store search, Hp have many corporeal stores all over the world, so it will be a better idea if they can implement an e-recommendation via find store search on their website so that customer can easily find the physical store nearest to where they are. That will help the company to increase the profit as some customer do not savour comfortable with buying online, but preferring to buy from a physical store. Hp can also implement the SMS tool, which will allow customers to key in their mobile number afterwards shopping from Hp website, and then the automation message will be sent to them as part of appreciation of shopping from Hp. This tool will help Hp to serve targeted market and boost customer loyalty. 6. 0 Implementation and Evaluation 6. 1 Electronic Commerce Solution integrated with SMS Gantt chart Proposed brass A buyer ECS integrated with SMS Administration deskMessage sending to buyers mobile Clicking appreciation message Reporting buying confirmation Process buying until it is accepted Process flow The process will start when the customer process his/her buying, through the process stage, particular at filling in details stage, the customer will have to submit his/her phone number, then follow the normal stages of online buying via Hp website. As the buying has completed and accepted, the deal will confirmed with the company Electronic Commerce Solution integrated with SMS system, which will send a report alert message to the person at the administration desk. The person at the administration desk will then click the already automated message of appreciation, and then tracked by ECS system and introduce to the targeted customers mobile number. Evaluation To ensure the effectiveness of this e-CRM, HP will look at the loyalty of the customer, for example, if the customers return again to buy from the company, it will convince that he/she is happy with the service and attention he/she was given last time, thus he/she is encouraged to come again. On the other hand, HP can do primary research, which will include survey and questionnaire about this project.Through those methods of data gathering, the company will able to know exactly what the customers feel about the service. 6. 2 e-Recommendation via find store searching tool Gantt chart Proposed system Customers Searching tool Locations database Search by selecting/ type in mess name Checking searched information from the database Not purchasable Found Process flow Customers who want to visit the nearest store to their locations will able to search by using their state name as a target they will either select their state or type in the name if it is not operable in the drop down menu. The searching tool will then check the stores available from the locations database, if there is no stores in that area, the customer will receive a notification, but if there are stores available, the customer will be provide with relevant information to reach that store, e. g. directions. Evaluation To consider this e-CRM as a success, HP will judge it by number of clicks done by customers, if they are more clicks being done by customers it means that the system is considered as helpful by customers. Also they research can be carried out at HP physical stores, asking customers about how did they managed to reach the place, if most answers will emphasize that is through a store find search from the website, then the system will be considered as a success and unspoilt to the company. Conclu sion HP is a large company, which according to the research put its customers first in whatever they are doing. Their main success in the industry has led by good customer service and relationship. The company still have a strong desire to satisfy their customers even more, they always glide path up with new ideas to match customers demands and needs. But on the other hand, even though the company is doing well in the market, I strongly feel that their website is not user friendly. As a customer and a researcher, I found it hard to interact with their website it has too much link and a bit confusing. raillery count 2552 References Books 1. Speed Speed in which the services are offered is also important. The casual flyers would obviously be excited of the experience and expect that they would be attended immediately while the members know they might have to wait for their chance to fly for long. But for the actual service the casual flyers have to wait for the members to be free to help them, while the members want to fly the gliders according to their wish. But the company here in this case has failed because most of the time they are busy in helping casual flyers to fly. 3.What advice would you give to the chairman? Ans Allow less calc ulate of Casual Flyers because the members are getting affected and they have to help them and also not get the time to fly, make permanent club members happy because the club generates maximum revenue from them when compared to casual flyers. Casual flyers essential pay more and must pay club members who are helping casual flyers because they are doing a lot of job and they need to get paid because they must make the members lose interest in the club. And also they can reduce the level of dissatisfaction. 1. Try to allow less number of Casual Flyers in the club. This would make the permanent club members happy. They have to keep in mind that the maximum share of the revenue is generated by the club members compared to Casual Flyers. 2. Increase the charges for casual flyers and pay the club members who are helping casual flyers to fly. This would help the club can reduce the level of dissatisfaction they are having due to absence of dedicated Gliders for them.

There were a few different warrants I could have made for my grounds. Once put into physical restraints or if the citizen has calmed down or promised to cooperate, the self-defense should end immediately. b. Officers can and should always remain on high fresh though. VII. If we pauperization our officers to be treated with respect, and our 911 systems to be effective to end crime, then police brutality should not be tolerated and should end immediately in order to keep citizens safe and ensured that our criminal justice system is working to benefit the community in a positive way. Abby BoyceEnglish 1201 Professor McGehee 10/22/2012 Police Brutality Awareness In the middle of broad daylight, August 28th, 2012, laid a man helpless and defenseless after being heydayed, beat, and sprayed repeatedly with a chemical irritant. We later come to find out that man is named Eric Hightower, and according to the article Police Brutality in the Age of YouTube in the StarTribune, he has had previous r un-ins with the law, but on August 28th his offense that caused the policeman (St. Paul officer Jesse Zilge) to violently kick and beat this man, while he lie on a St. Paul sidewalk, is unknown.Shortly after the incident a video was posted on YouTube, which provided solid evidence that this cop was completely out of line. But its not the first time there have been issues with the morality and brutality of our local and nationwide officers. Something needs to be done immediately to end the violence and inappropriate discipline being inflicted on our citizens. The harsh discipline we are discovering is being used more and more often should not be tolerated. Cops, especially street cops, are supposed to be the role-models of the community and are hired to benefit the community, not harm it.According to the St. Paul yearly analysis, in 2010 crime rates for homicides alone have shot up 9% since 2001. Many of those crimes may have been easily prevented if cops had been doing their job cor rectly and using appropriate punishment only when needed. Many citizens have become scared to call 911 and involve the police because they dont trust the actions they will take. In reality, the police should be making you feel at ease and knowing you can call them for help should be something people should feel comfortable doing.Police brutality is defined as the knowledgeable use of excessive force by a police officer. It takes many forms, including physical abuse, verbal attacks, and mental intimidation. In the most recent years, we are seeing more and more cops being put on trial for their violent conduct. The story of Eric Hightower is just one of the many recently reported and investigated stories of victimized citizens being put in physical harm by cops. Its beginning to make many of us wonder how many times there have been incidents like this in the past that have neer been reported. It was brought to my attention more closely than ever when it was as stated in the StartTri bune, If an officer can kick someone in front of witnesses and a camera, how often do those types of attacks happen at night when cameras arent rolling? Of course, to believe there is an issue with the criminal justice system, you must recognize the problem as well as believe that cops are not trained to inflict physical abuse on citizens, they are trained to help the community and to only get physical when demonstrating self-defense.Even when using self-defense should it ever be okay to kick someone, along with slam someones head onto the car hood (according to the StarTribune in the Hightower story)? The answer is no. If cops are supposed to be preventing physical abuse and fighting why on world would it ever be okay for them to use it. Cops must complete a two year degree before they can be a certified officer. The reason for this is so that they can learn the ethics that must be used while on duty as well as many other classes that teach the duties that must be performed and h ow to go about them.Knowing that, I have a very hard time believing there is any circumstance an officer could say that they were unaware their air was out of line. We are discovering that most brutality is directed against minority groups or otherwise powerless populations. Officers who quest for in brutality rationalize their use of inappropriate force by claiming they are punishing those groups that threaten to disrupt the social order. The importance of understanding racism in the context of police brutality needs to be brought to attention and is extremely out of line. Many police automatically regard racial minority group members as potentially dangerous regardless of their particular activities, gestures, or attire. This perception of racial minority citizens as trouble sometimes translates into racially discriminatory police behavior. According to CliffNotes. com, In 1982, the federal government funded a Police Services Study in which over 12,000 randomly selected citizens were interviewed in three metropolitan areas. The convey found that 13 percent of those surv nerved had been victims of police brutality the previous year.Yet only 30 percent of those who declare such brutality filed formal complaints. I would be willing to bet that over 50% of those citizens, who endured the police brutality, are minorities or racially different from the cop that inflicted the abuse upon them. Of course believing that cops can be racially discriminating, means that you must believe racism is still a common problem in todays society. Which in fact, it most definitely is. Its still a big problem because people are not bringing enough attention to it for it to be recognized. For example, before reading the article in the StarTribune and prior to taking a Criminal Justice class that focused on the racially discriminating cops, I had no idea this was even an issue. It needs to be brought in the public eye so that people can start voluntarily coming forward and so the problem can be solved nationwide. I believe we this is a realistic request and hope for our future, because recently Departments in some cities, for example, have adopted special training programs to reduce incidents of police brutality.Other departments have formulated rules that see the use of force by the police. Preventive control also requires supervising officers (for example, conducting surveillance of officers work) and disciplining those who violate departmental standards. A few amount of cities aroung the US are developing early warning systems to identify officers with high rates of citizen complaints. These incidents should be investigated, and if verified, the officers involved should be charged, disciplined, restrained, and/or counseled.According to CliffNotes. com, Pittsburgh, for example, launched a $1. 5 million computer system. It monitors every(prenominal) aspect of an officers professional lifefrom the number of citizen complaints filed against the officer to t he race of every person the officer arrests. With all that said, there is only one exception to my argument which is, if a citizen threatens to use a lethal weapon on an officer or if a citizen gets physically violent against an officer, then physically restraining that person is reasonable and just.In officer training schools they are taught to use self-defense when necessary. Many officers though, are abusing that privilege. Once put into physical restraints or if the citizen has calmed down or promised to cooperate, the self-defense should end immediately. This does not mean that the officer should not be on high alert, but physically, he or she should not be getting physical with the citizen. If we want our officers to be treated with respect, and our 911 systems to be effective to end crime, then police brutality should not be tolerated and should end mmediately in order to keep citizens safe and ensured that our criminal justice system is working to benefit the community in a positive way.
